I specialise in working with couples and individuals focussing on communication and connection. Whether you’ve lost the passion, feel like you’re treading water, are arguing, feeling frustrated and getting no change, struggle to make and/or keep a relationship, feel you have lost the sexual connection you used to have, can’t get yourself heard by your partner or worry your relationship is in danger of breaking up, my training and 40+ years experience allows me to tailor the work to fit your needs and respond flexibly. The research on how our emotions react to events using learned patterns has been fantastic in helping us understand why we behave the way we do in our relationships, and creates choice to do more of the same or try something new.
As a Systemic Psychotherapist I am always curious about the differences you bring and what you will find to be helpful. Combining this with Imago Relationship Couples Therapy I provide flexible options to tailor the intervention to fit you, creating the best possible environment for the change you are seeking.
I am also able to use these ideas in my supervision of other professionals giving them options to take into their work.
