Neurobiology tells us that the brain has to make sense of what it perceives and experiences, and when it can’t it continues to seek coherence. This leads to entrenched narratives of right and wrong.
Coherence in relationships involves understanding and empathising with the other’s position. How can we do this when we ourselves are wounded by the other, or their actions?
With hearing comes understanding, with understanding comes the opportunity for empathy and from empathy emerges healing and respect. From this a choice will emerge as to how you wish to be in relationship.
I offer you a safe space, separately or together, to make sense of the challenges and difficulties that we all encounter.
“But let their be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love; let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls” – Khalil Gibran
